I provide a warm and nurturing, Alberta-approved Dayhome in Silverado with over 20 years of childcare experience where children feel safe, supported and at home.

Play-Based Learning

I offer a play-based approach that supports early childhood development through hands-on activities, creativities and structured daily activities.

Outdoor Play

Children enjoy daily outdoor playtime (weather permitting), with access to both backyard and nearby playground spaces.

Safe & Healthy Environment

I provide a non-smoking, pet-free environment for children 5 years and under focused on safety, comfort and well-being.

Nutritious Meals

I follow the Canadian Food Guide and provide warm, homemade meals to support children's health and development.

My Approach & Philosophy

My approach to childcare is guided by over 20 years of experience and my Early Childhood Education Level 2 Certification through Bow Valley College. I am currently working toward my Early Childhood Education Level 3 to continue building on my education and enhancing the care that I provide. I am committed to providing a warm, home-based environment where children and families feel a strong sense of comfort and belonging.

I believe children learn best through play, routine and meaningful everyday experiences. I create opportunities for learning through hands-on activities, creative play, indoor and outdoor exploration, helping children grow socially, emotionally and cognitively.

I value encouraging independence, curiosity and confidence while supporting each child at their own pace. My goal is to provide a positive foundation that helps children develop important life skills and a love for learning.
